Janet Chan, O. D.
Dr. Janet Chan is a native New Jerseyan who completed her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. She earned her optometric degree with honorary distinction from Southern California College of Optometry and was the recipient of the 1999 Alcon Excellence award. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
Dr. Chan became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2005. To become a Fellow, one is required to write clinical case reports and to sit through a final oral examination. Upon successfully completing the oral examination, one is awarded the Fellow status. Only 10 percent of Optometrists ever become Fellows of the Academy. |
When she is not in the office, Dr. Chan enjoys going to the park and other outdoor activities with her husband Felix, her daughters Tessa and Kira, and their two dogs. Often, she helps plan activities for her daughter's girl scout troops.

Maria has many years of experience in this field and is knowledgeable in all aspects of optometry. She pays attention to details and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and baking! She makes the best cake pops and french macarons! |

Robyn performs tests such as checking your eye pressure for glaucoma. Robyn can also take a picture of the inside of your eye and perform OCT (optical coherence tomography). OCT is a technology used to image the retina and optic nerve. Similar to ultrasound, this technology uses light (instead of sound) to achieve higher resolution pictures of the structural layers of the back of the eye.

Juliana
Juliana performs pretests such as the visual field test. This test helps test for glaucoma and other disorders such as brain tumors.
Juliana is fluent in Tagalog. She is also able to help you select the best frame and lens options. In her free time, Juliana enjoys going to concerts and watching K-dramas. |
DANIELA
Daniela will double check to make sure that your eyeglasses are made properly! She is also very knowledgeable in helping you out with frame selection and can help teach you how to insert and remove contacts for first time wearer!
Daniela is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys reading!
KIMBERLY

Jojo performs pretests such as the autorefractor/auto-keratometer (an instrument that can get the Optometrist a starting point to your eyeglass prescription and measures the curvature of the cornea, the front part of your eye). She is also very knowledgeable in helping you out with frame selection. In her free time, Jojo enjoys spending time with her horse. She also volunteers at the East Bay Center for the blind. Jojo is currently studying to become a future optometrist!! |
